What Is The Recovery Time On A Vasectomy?

Hubby is considering getting the vas. Can anyone tell me the truth on recovery time? I read he can go back to work in 3-7 days, depending on his physical stress level, and he can resume ual activity in a week. I also read that he may have pain during or ejaculation for up to 8 weeks. Can anyone tell me how long it was before you actually got back to normal, like you were before? What was your experience?
