Why do those Euro trash call us racist and stupid?!?

Does anybody (some Europeans included) find it ironic that the Europeans call white Americans racist, but then proceed to deliberately treat American tourists terribly. Treating the stereotypical "Ugly American" tourist with contempt is fine by me, but it is when Americans who are polite and humble find themselves subject to extreme mistreatment that I shake my head in disgust. Why do they denounce racism, yet accept Anti-Americanism?!
