Driving to TIJUANA TJ, MX this weekend. Would I get stopd often just for havng a Cali License plate/ScionTC?

Well I'm planing to go to Tijuana this weekend and I was just wondering if I was to take my Scion TC 07 (which is not an expensive but is new car) over the border would I be getting stopped every few hours by the police officers over there?
