Do you have to drink stuff to clean ot your bowls before you have surgery for a hysterectomy?

Hi my name is Jill on august the 3 i'm having a hysterectomy done because for the last 7 years I've been having all kind of problem with my period. Has any one had to drink stuff to clean out there bowl before a hysterectomy surgery I'm afraid that I might have to drink stuff to clean out my bowls. I have a very very weak stuff when I had to drink the stuff for my last surgery I started to drink the stuff I threw up right away and could not finish it at all. Most of the stuff you mix to the drink with I can't have because I have acid reflex it would make my acid reflex worst. Any feed back would be great, At first they though it was my gallbladder I've had every test done from my gi doctor he ruled out it is not my gallbladder. My new gi doctor said he think it has to do with my period not my gallbladder. Thanks Allot Jill Closs
