Why do white people buy lil wayne albums but not intelligent rappers like Lupe Fiasco?

before you deny it lil wayne wouldn't be as popular and mainstream as he is if white people didn't accept him. Yet Lupe, Common, Talib Kwali who are intelligent rappers never get mainstream attention. Are white people afraid of smart black men?
