Do you think this marriage will last?

My ex-boyfriend's younger brother (who's really only a year younger than us) has a slight form of Aspergers, and when i read this i though of him. He has never had a girlfriend and will be attending college in the fall. He doesn't know how to talk to or relate to other people that well, much less girls. That's hard enough for a regular guy. And maybe your friend called out at all the ridiculously gorgeous girls because deep down he knew he wasn't going to snag one. (Not saying it isn't possible, but i'm just using my ex-bf's brother's way of thinking) His brother doesn't even approach girls he's interested in because he has it made up in his mind it will never happen. Now this kid is brilliant. But i see the same thing happening to him. Maybe this guys wife isn't the smartest or most attractive woman, but maybe he feels like he can relate to her on a level he never could with any other girl, a level of comfort? I know aspergers is a really complicated disorder, and i know my ex's brother has issues with people touching him, or even being close to/with him. Maybe this one woman was an exception for your friend. If he says he's happy, i'd believe him until he says otherwise. Just because his wife might be unattractive by your standards, and dumber than you'd like for him, if he loves her, he loves her.
