Why is my boyfriend so protective?

My guess is that he reallly likes you and doesn't want you to get interested in a different guy. As for the whole little kid thing, he probably wants them to be able to grow up and say they had such a great childhood, scince his childhood wasn't too great. To me, it sounds like he just wants everything to go right. But then again, I don't know him. Hope this helped:)
